Erika joined our Aquatic Health & Rehab family in December 2013. A Brevard county native, Erika graduated from Satellite high school in 2005 and from Brevard Community College in 2008 with her AA degree. In 2012 after over seven years experience in the medical field as a medical secretary, surgery scheduler and insurance specialist, Erika yearned for a way to incorporate her love of fitness and wellness with helping others and decided to go back to school. She travelled to Sarasota, FL to earn her Associates of Science degree in Physical Therapist assistant from Keiser University. She graduated with honors in top 10% of her class and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society. An avid competitive swimmer from ages 6-15, Aquatic Health & Rehab combines two of Erika's passions - helping others and being in the water. Her philosophy is to help her patients enjoy their experience in therapy while teaching them the tools to get back to their lives. She is currently working on her Kinesio Tape certification, is aquatic therapy certified and has training in class IV laser, MPS (micro current point stimulation) and strain counter strain. In her free time she enjoys competing in sprint triathlons, cycling, swimming, spending time with her family and friends, indulging in her weakness for cupcakes and hunting down local food trucks with Dr. Caroline Dilworth
